Every day when John Frakie gets home from working at the University of Montana, the first thing Peter does is ask him to go for a walk, even in the dead of winter. “ He’d rather be outside then inside the house at any time, but we can only take him out when the weather is compatible with his breathing,” says John. “ When Peter says he wants to go for a walk, what he really means is push me in the kid cart to go see the horses.” Peter can’t walk more then a half a block without tiring, so John and Peter take turns pushing the Kid Cart, which is a smaller version of a wheelchair.
